Last sunday started the next 18-week journey
until the next marathon.

The San Francisco Marathon is the next stop on this runner’s list… and I am still in the “really?!? do you really want to do this again?” phase.
I want to do a better job of tracking this journey, week by week. The reason why I decided to run a marathon is because I got to watch a friend of mine victoriously run through the finishline of his first marathon. And because I ran 26.2 miles, a few of my friends have jumed on the marathon wagon. I can’t to see their faces after they finish their first race.

(this is mark after last year’s SF marathon)

ahhh..I know this feeling too well. I just did LA in March and am about to start training again…You’d think it would be so much easier knowing that it’s been done, however like you I feel a bit more anxious than before. Can I push myself harder? Should I? Did i really actually do that 26.2..or was that an out-of-body? Congrats on the last one and luck on the next m’dear. Are you doing the Nike womens or San Fran in July?
We should meet up for a mid training half somewhere!

Silly me, you linked it. I did the San Fran half last year, it was a great little race doesn’t get much better than running on the golden gate. yum.
